This report today about Singtel's 'Touching Lives Fund' describes it as
'SingTel's philanthropy vehicle here and the main thrust of the company's Corporate Social Responsibility Programme'. I think we can agree that companies should describe CSR more holistically and that whilst philanthropy is good it is not a main thrust of CSR. It is also interesting to see how companies record, measure, evaluate and report Community Investment activities.
