Rita YU is a Senior Project Manager for CSR Asia based in the Hong Kong Office. She is responsible for sustainability strategy and reporting, stakeholder engagement, benchmarking, materiality assessment and research.
Rita has solid and diverse experience in the subject of climate change and extreme events, particularly with respect to climate change science, impacts and policy. She has worked with a wide range of clients, stakeholders and policymakers from the governmental, non-profit and private sector communities, technical experts, as well as the general public in Asia, the United States and Europe. Prior to joining CSR Asia, Rita was a Visiting Scientist at the University of Washington (USA). She served as an Expert Reviewer for Working Group II Contribution to Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change Fifth Assessment Reports (IPCC AR5 WGII).
Rita holds a Ph.D. in Climate Science from the Climatic Research Unit (CRU) and Tyndall Centre for Climate Change Research, University of East Anglia (UK). She was a recipient of a doctoral grant from the AXA Research Fund.
