Karen guides her clients in strategic contributions to causes that benefit both the community and their business through community investment.
Over the past two years, Karen served as the Co-Chair of a working group for Oxfam’s Gender Transformative and Responsible Agribusiness Investments in South East Asia (GRAISEA) Programme, in which CSR Asia is a regional partner for private sector engagement. She played an instrumental role in facilitating CSR Asia’s involvement with members across ASEAN, fostering cross-learning and synergy within the programme.
In the past four years with CSR Asia, she also contributed to many research and benchmarking services delivered to partners and clients including Huawei and Hong Kong Airport Authority and the CSR Centre of Swedish Embassy in Beijing. In 2017, Karen lead the delivery of the Shared Value Forum 2017 and managed a series of subsequent awareness building activities and consultancy services commissioned by the Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Fund of the HKSAR Government.
Prior to joining CSR Asia in 2014, Karen managed a variety of language solutions projects for high-profile clients such as Nasdaq and Goldman Sachs for a Fortune 500 integrated communications company.
Karen holds a Bachelor of Social Science in Political Science and Translation from the University of Hong Kong. She interned for Kadoorie Farm and Botanic Garden where she guided eco-tours and developed environmental education materials for visitors.
